Association for the Social Justice in Helsinki (Helsingin Sosiaalinen Oikeudenmukaisuus – HSO) has a purpose to improve social justness in society. To meet this aim, the association raises concerns about social and health care policies and participates in public debate by promoting the social rights of people and their social security.
HSO participates as one of the organisators in the Night of the Homeless, held every year on 17 October, the day against poverty and social exclusion declared by the UN.
In addition, the association organises activities in neighbourhoods and in 2013 started to hold movie screenings in Helsingin Elokolo (address: Toinen linja 31).
